POLYURETHANE FOAM is a semi-rigid foam also known as URETHANE FOAM, and acts as an excellent shock absorber. It is fire-retardant and is available in three density ranges to match the different requirements of the Primary, Elementary and Secondary levels in the school system.

POLYETHYLENE FOAMS
CLOSED CELL CROSS-LINKED
CLOSED CELL CROSS-LINKED Polyethylene Foam has superior shock absorbency qualities. This foam is noted for it's durability and longer service life. Retention of it's high tensile strength is a major feature of cross-linked foam. It is resistant to fatigue failure, is water resistant, and is fire-retardant. A wide range of densities are available in thickness' of 1.25" to 2". In two pound levels the foam ranges from 5/8" through 1.25" to 2". It is widely used in Primary, Elementary and Secondary school levels. For Secondary School use the 2" thickness is recommended.
